To book a class, fill out our contact form with your preferred location and we will email you back three available times to organise a trial.
We always offer the first lesson as a free trial.
Ongoing lesson costs:
$40 for 20 minutes
$50 for 30 minutes
$75 for 45 minutes
$100 for 1 hour
Semi-private lessons (max 4 students):
$30 each for 30 minutes
$60 each for 1 hour
Pricing is invoiced per school term, following the Victorian term dates.
We offer a 10% discount for families learning with us or students learning multiple instruments.
All of our coaches are unique, and so are you! They will tailor their lessons with your around your needs/wishes.
You can expect your coach to be warm, friendly, accommodating, and experienced in their craft. They will likely begin lessons with a warm up and/or technical work (again, based on you) before exploring repertoire relevant to you and your instrument. You will be in safe and capable hands!
We have a range of professional and tertiary qualified musicians who can teach: voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, theory, and composition.
Absolutely not! At Sth Side Music Academy, we have taught absolute beginners at all ages, in all of the instruments we teach.
Yes we offer home lessons on select days. Pricing is the same as our studio lessons, plus a $5 travel fee per lesson.
We typically deliver lessons weekly, and during Victorian school term dates. In certain circumstances, we can accommodate your availability.
We offer lessons Monday-Friday from 3:45pm-9pm, and Saturdays from 8am-3pm.
We support many students at Sth Side through AMEB examinations. Please enquire within about any other specific examinations you are interested in - we would love to assist!
Yes! We have supported several students through VCE Music Performance.
Yes! Our coaches are able to assist with music scholarship preparation including auditions, interviews and administration.
Absolutely! All of our coaches are able to support students through tertiary auditions. Please enquire within regarding specific degrees/specialisations - with such a diverse array of coaches, we will almost certainly be able to find the perfect coach to assist.
We host several performance opportunities throughout the year, including recitals, gigs with a live band, workshops, and more.
